Steve Pinone '87, '89 oversees all Athletic fundraising activities at Villanova University. He recently completed fundraising for the Davis Center for Athletics and Fitness a 55,000 square foot facility which contains a campus fitness center and facilities to support the men's and women's basketball programs. The $18.5 million facility was built entirely with external funds committed by alumni, parents, and friends. Prior to joining the Athletics Development staff in 2001, Steve had a 14 year career in coaching which culminated with the position of Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach at Villanova.

He holds two degrees from Villanova University, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics in 1987 and a master's degree in Secondary Education in 1989. Steve was a four year member of the men's basketball team and was part of the 1985 national championship squad.

Steve and his wife, Sharon, reside in Royersford, PA with their two sons, Stephen, Jr. and Matthew.

Whitey Rigsby '78 has been working to raise support and visibility for Villanova's athletic programs since The V Club was established in January 2000. First serving as Director of the V Club and now serving as Director of Development for Athletics, he is responsible for developing relationships and increasing resources for the University's athletic programs.

He was a three-year starter for the men's basketball while a student at Villanova and graduated in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. Whitey is a member of the Villanova Varsity Club Hall of Fame and has served as the "Voice of Wildcat Basketball" on the radio since 1980.

Whitey resides in Malvern, PA with his wife, Becky '79, and their seven children, Deborah '04, Robert, Jr. '07, Frederick '07, Mary, Matthew '10, Joseph, and John, and one grandchild, Adam.

Karen Albright joined the Athletics Fundraising staff in November 2007 as Director of Development for Athletics. In this role, Karen works to strengthen relationships among alumni, parents, and friends of Wildcat athletics and generate support for Villanova's 24 intercollegiate sports. Prior to joining the V Club, Karen served for seven years in the University's Development Office, most recently as Associate Director of Development.

Karen graduated from McDaniel College, formerly Western Maryland College, in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She competed at the collegiate level on both the field hockey and basketball teams during her four year college career.

Karen resides in Conshohocken, PA.

Mary has been a part of the Villanova community since 1998. She manages daily operations for the Athletic Development staff, coordinates events, and manages the annual online auction. Prior to joining the Department of Athletics, she held positions in the Office of University Development, Villanova School of Business, and the Office of University Admission.

Mary lives in Newtown Square, PA with her husband, Michael, and two children, Colleen '09 and Ryan.
