Villanova opened up 2013 season at Belmont Plateau on Friday evening

2013 Cross Country: Made great strides as a regular member of the team's lineup ... Top performance came at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, where her time of 21:47 was a personal best for a 6,000 meter course ... Finished in 77th place at the regional meet ... Was the sixth Villanova finisher at both the BIG EAST Championships and the NCAA Championships ... Came in 42nd at the conference meet with a time of 22:46 and finished with a time of 23:10.2 in the national championship race ... Competed at the Pre-NCAA Meet and registered a time of 22:52.0 ... Opened the season at the 4,000 meter Friend Big Five Invitational and finished in eighth place with a time of 14:46.31 ... Placed 13th out of 86 runners at the three-mile Main Line Invitational (17:37.09).

2013 Indoor: Runner-up in the Mile at the Jack Pyrah Invitational with a time of 5:18.10.
2012 Cross Country: Redshirted.
Sewickley Academy: Captain and four-time MVP of the track & field team ... Earned all-state honors indoors in the 3000 meters as a senior ... Named the school's top female athlete ... Also played soccer and was a team captain and first team all-section pick ... Chosen as a WPIAL All-Star as a senior ... Academically was a recipient of the Scholar-Athlete award and achieved High Honors status ... Four-time class vice president ... Finalist in the Ralph Munn Creative Writing Non-Fiction contest.
Personal: Born 7/24/93 ... Younger of two daughters of Michael and Shirlene Bungo ... Has an older sister, Tayler, who attends Wake Forest ... Has yet to declare a major.
