On Onque-Shabazz: Comes off a very successful collegiate debut as a freshman last season ... Was a second team All-American indoors as part of the team's distance medley relay, and was also a part of BIG EAST titles in the 4x400 meter relay both indoors and outdoors ... Top individual event is the 400 meters, in which she garnered All-BIG EAST accolades outdoors ... Has a tremendous amount of potential as she continues to gain experience and is poised to continue her success in 2017-18.

2017 Cross Country: Did not compete at any meets.

2017 Outdoor: Helped the Wildcats win a BIG EAST title in the 4x400 relay and also earned All-BIG EAST honors individually in the 400 meters at the BIG EAST Championships ... Ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay as Villanova posted a winning time of 3:44.34 ... Tallied a runner-up finish in the 400 meters with a time of 56.69 after ranking third in the preliminary heats in 56.38 ... Enjoyed plenty of success as part of the team's 4x400 relay throughout the season ... Ran the third leg of the relay in the preliminary heats at the Penn Relays as Villanova posted a time of 3:46.12 ... Moved to the anchor leg in the ECAC section of the relay two days later and posted a personal best split of 54.99 to help the Wildcats finish second in that race with a time of 3:43.28 ... Previously ran the third leg of the relay at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, where Villanova finished in third place and tallied the 10th-fastest time in school history with a mark of 3:39.74 ... Also finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:11.18 at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational ... Registered times of 57.35 in the 400 meters and 2:11.42 in the elite section of the 800 meters at the Larry Ellis Invitational ... Began the outdoor season at the Colonial Relays, where she recorded a time of 2:16.11 in the 800 meters and ran the 400 meter leg of the distance medley relay which finished fourth with a time of 11:46.25.

2016-17 Indoor: Made a successful collegiate debut as a team contributor both individually and in the relays ... Earned second team All-America honors as part of the team's distance medley relay at the NCAA Championships, as well as All-BIG EAST honors for running on the team's conference champion 4x400 meter relay ... Registered a split of 55.62 on the 400 meter leg of the DMR at the national meet, where Villanova finished 12th in 11:13.59 ... Ran the third leg of the 4x400 relay at the BIG EAST Championships ... Villanova's winning time of 3:42.06 was the third-fastest indoor time in school history ... Also advanced to the final of the 400 meters at the conference meet ... Finished fifth in the final with a personal-best time of 56.34 after ranking eighth in the preliminaries with a time of 56.94 ... Started the season at the Jack Pyrah Invitational, where she ran the 1000 meters in 2:58.68 to finish third in that race, as well as anchoring her 4x400 relay squad to a first place tie with a time of 3:56.00 ... Also anchored the 4x400 relay to a fourth place finish and a time of 3:49.93 at the Nittany Lion Challenge, in addition to coming in eighth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:34.55 ... Runner-up in the 400 meters at the Gotham Cup (56.44) ... Ran the 400 meter leg of the DMR at the Columbia East-West Challenge, with Villanova coming in second in the relay with a time of 11:07.90.

2016 Cross Country:
Redshirted ... Competed as an unattached runner at the Haverford Invitational ... Posted a time of 18:44.6 over three miles.

Union Catholic High School:
Earned two varsity letters in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field ... As both a junior and a senior was named the Courier News Girls Runner of the Year for the indoor season, and was a first team all-state performer in the 800 meters ... Earned first team all-state honors in the 400 meters as a senior ... Three-time first team all-group in the 800 meters and achieved that distinction twice in the 400 meters ... Achieved Honor Roll status academically all four years ... Inducted to the Spanish Honor Society as a junior ... Prior to the beginning of her high school career was a three-time USATF Girls Athlete of the Year in the middle distance events (2010, 2011, 2012).

Personal: Born 10/12/98 in Newark, N.J. ... Oldest of three children of Amir Onque-Shabazz and Kito Harris ... Siblings are Amaia (12) and Amani (5) ... Likes listening to music and dancing in her spare time ... Chose to attend Villanova for the combination of its proximity to home as well as the size of the campus and classes ... Had previously enjoyed watching Villanova compete at nearby meets ... Enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
