Water Polo Heads to Posada Royale Invitational Tournament

VILLANOVA, Pa. -

Wildcat water polo will head to Thousand Oaks, Calif. to participate in the Sixth Annual Posada Royale Tournament hosted by California Lutheran University. They will play six games over three days in hopes to capture their first victory of the season.

Villanova is led by freshman Sarina Shibata who leads the team with 17 goals. Shibata was named MAAC Rookie of the Week for her performance in last week's home tournament. Goaltender Maddi Moore has also left an impression this season tying a school record with seven steals in net at the Bison Invite. They will kick-off tournament action tomorrow morning against the host team Cal Lutheran.
