CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Wagner topped Villanova 12-8 in the consolation round of the 2003 Women's Eastern Championship. Jaimee Binder and Karli Washington scored three goals apiece for the Seahawks while their teammate Sarah Yokubaitis stopped six Villanova shots to secure the win. Kimberley Pare led the Wildcats with three goals and three steals.

Wagner will meet Iona in the Ninth Place game at 10:10 a.m. on Sunday. Villanova is set to play Gannon for Eleventh Place at 9:00 a.m.

Villanova goals: Chesed Ceniseroz 1 (1); Ellen Howe 1 (2); Sarah Oberhauser 2 (2); Kimberley Pare 3 (3); Monica Pommier 1 (1).

Wagner goals: Jaimee Binder 3 (4); Courtney Crase 2 (3); Jamie Fullen 1 (2); Megan Garrett 1 (1); Amanda Heintzelman 1, GW (2); Monica Lopez 1 (1); Karli Washington 3 (5).

Villanova saves: Denise Hanes 10 (4).

Wagner saves: Sarah Yokubaitis 6 (16).
