Villanova Falls to Loyola Marymount 9-5

Wildcats to host league tournament on March 11-12

On March 4, in the final game of its spring west coast trip, the Villanova women's water polo team lost to Loyola Marymount by the score of 9-5. The Wildcats fall to 4-5 overall on the season with the loss.

Sophomore Erin Agee led Villanova with two goals, for her first two-goal performance of the season. Also scoring for the Wildcats were Carrie Boyle, Brigitte Bayster and Sharon Fuller. Boyle tallied a team-high two assists, while Bayster led Villanova with four steals.

In goals for the Wildcats, Carly Sproul took the loss despite seven blocks and one steal.

Villanova now heads home where it will host a league tournament on March 11-12 at the Villanova Swim Center.
