On Saturday, March 4, the Villanova women's water polo team traveled to Redlands and lost a heartbreaker by the score of 6-5. The Wildcats' loss was their third straight and dropped their record to 4-4 overall on the year.

Senior Brigitte Bayster keyed the Villanova offense, scoring three goals and adding two assists and five steals. All three numbers were team-highs for the Wildcats. Sharon Fuller and Janine Kusza each netted one goal apiece, but it was not enough as Redlands squeaked out a one-goal victory.

Goalkeeper Carly Sproul took the loss in net for Villanova, posting two blocks and four steals.

The Wildcats will wrap up their trip on March 4, playing Loyola Marymount at 4:00 p.m.
