PRINCETON, N.J.--The Villanova women's water polo squad wrapped up competition on Sunday afternoon with a 9-8 win over Wagner. Earlier in the day, the Wildcats fell to Harvard, 6-4.

In the loss to Harvard, Ellen Howe, Kim Pare and Taylor Schrang each provided goals for the Wildcats. Goalie Jess Wells came in with 11 saves.

The afternoon proved more successful for Villanova (1-3), as it posted its first victory of the 2005 season over Wagner. Pare scored three times, while Howe, Aimee Corsiglia and Sarah Oberhauser also contributed goals for the 'Cats.

The Wildcats return to action on March 6, when they head to California for a series of games, starting with UC-Santa Barbara.
