• Water Polo Honored at Halftime for Academics

    The Villanova water polo team was honored on September 17 during halftime of the Villanova football game against Towson for having the highest spring 2016 team cumulative grade point average of any Villanova athletics team.

  • Alumus Rob Mida Hired to Lead Women's Water Polo

    Villanova University Athletics announced today that former water polo assistant Rob Mida ‘07 has been promoted to the head coach of the program. Mida spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach, and a volunteer coach for the program the two years prior.

    The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the 2014-15 Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale.   • Wildcats have 13 Named to ACWPA All-Academic Team

    A total of 504 athletes were named to the team with the ACWPC awarding 131 Outstanding, 198 Superior and 175 Excellent accolades.

  • Conrath, Ng Headline Postseason MAAC Water Polo Awards

    Julie Conrath and Naomi Ng were named First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and Conrath was named Defensive Player of the Year to headline the Villanova postseason MAAC Water Polo Awards.
