The 2010 season will mark the fourth for Kim Pare on the Wildcat coaching staff. She is a familiar face in the program, however, as Pare was a four-year standout for Villanova who graduated in May 2006 with a degree in Communications. Pare will assist the Wildcats in all areas of the program.
During her four years on the team, Pare was a key part of a Villanova offensive unit that ranked among the national leaders in scoring offense. She led the team in scoring all four years and achieved the distinction of being a four-time All-MAAC selection. As a senior last season, Pare totaled 49 goals and 19 assists and was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Year. She was also a first team All-MAAC pick in 2005 when she scored 83 goals and registered 99 points. That season, Pare's offensive contributions helped the Wildcats reach the championship game of the MAAC Tournament, and she was named to the league's all-tournament team.
A native of East Grand Rapids, Mich., Pare was an All-American swimmer and water polo player at East Grand Rapids High School. She received all-conference, all-region and all-state honors in both sports, made her school's honor roll, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
