Kerri Sullivan Smacks 1,000th Career Kill
Nov. 19, 2003 VILLANOVA, PA. - VILLANOVA, PA. - Junior middle blocker Kerri Sullivan registered the 1,000th kill of her Wildcat career with 11 kills against BIG EAST rivals St. John's and Connecticut. Sullivan has tallied 355 kills in 99 games of action this season. The Downers Grove, Ill. native has reached double digits in kills in 18 matches this season, including a season-high 31 kills against Manhattan. Sullivan leads the squad with an average of 3.59 kills per game and owns a team-best .243 hitting percentage. She also ranks second on the Wildcats with 62 total blocks. Sullivan tallied a career-high 481 kills in 121 games of action in 2002, while posting 92 total blocks. During her freshman campaign, she managed 172 kills and 36 blocks.
Villanova will face top-seeded Pittsburgh in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Notre Dame.
