VILLANOVA, Pa. - Senior Dana Tartazky was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Villanova went 1-1 last week as they dropped a 3-2 contest to Marquette on Saturday, but rebounded with a 3-0 sweep over Syracuse on Sunday.

Tartazky led the Wildcats (14-14, 5-7) with 27 kills over the weekend, averaging 3.38 per set. She also had 17 total digs. Tartazky led the squad in both matches with a double-double against Marquette (14 kills, 10 digs) and 13 kills against Syracuse.

This is Tartazky's fourth conference honor of the season as she earned a spot on the honor roll the week of Sept. 29, Sept. 8 and Oct. 6.

Villanova will conclude the BIG EAST regular season with road matches and are still fighting for a position in the conference tournament. The Wildcats face Georgetown on Friday, Nov 14 at 8:00 p.m. and travel to USF on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 p.m.
