Syracuse Drops Villanova

Syracuse, N.Y. - In their first of two Big East contests this weekend, Villanova lost to Syracuse in four games 16-14, 13-15, 15-10, 16-14. Syracuse took game one behind sophomore Dana Fiume's six kills. Villanova evened the score winning game two, but the Orange rallied back to take the final two games.

Villanova (11-14/3-5) was led by Elizabeth Jones who tallied a career-high 36 digs while Megan O'Brien knocked down a game high 23 kills. Syracuse's (19-10/3-5) Dana Fiume recorded 19 kills and six blocks in the Orange victory.

The Wildcats travels to Notre Dame on Sunday, November 7 to take on the Irish before returning to the Main Line to take on Rutgers and Seton Hall in their final Big East home matches of the season.
