VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova volleyball squad (1-4) will return to the court Tuesday at 7 p.m. and travel an hour north to battle Lehigh (5-1) at the Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall in Bethlehem, Pa.

The Wildcats look to bounce back after dropping a double header this past weekend, which included a 3-1 defeat to No. 13 Nebraska in front of 8,321 fans.

"Lehigh is playing very well right now and this is probably the best Lehigh team I've seen in my time at Villanova," Wildcats head coach Josh Steinbach said. "So playing them at their place will be a challenge. Our team will be looking forward to just playing better and we will have a chance to do that tomorrow night."

Andersen's Career Milestone Highlights 3-1 Win Over Lehigh
Senior outside hitter Krista Andersen (Lakeland, Fla.) became the 14th player in school history to reach 1,000 career kills and Villanova (9-10) tallied its fourth straight decision with a 3-1 win over Lehigh (6-9) at Jake Nevin Field House on Tuesday night. Andersen reached the 1,000 milestone late in the first set and finished the match with 10 kills to help pace the Wildcats to the win. Villanova won the match with set scores of 25-10, 21-25, 25-20 and 25-22 while winning for the fifth time in six home matches this season.

The Mountain Hawks are riding a five-match winning streak, which includes shutout victories over Rhode Island, Fairleigh Dickson and Saint Peter's twice after dropping their season opener, 3-2, to New Hampshire.

Villanova has owned the series against Lehigh with a 21-5 record, including a perfect 2-0 during Steinbach's tenure with the last victory coming a year ago.
