Junior outside hitter Carly Edwards traveled to China this past summer to play for Team USA in a pair of promotional tourmnaments. She kept a blog and took pictures during her trip, all of which can be seen in the links below.
In her first blog entry Carly Edwards talks about practicing with the Team USA travel squad for the first time in Anaheim, Calif. prior to the team's departure for China.
Upon arriving in China and traveling to the city of Tianjin the Team USA squad practiced for the first time in Peoples Arena, site of the team's first match. Edwards details these experiences in her second blog entry.
In blog entry number three Carly Edwards gives a rundown of the banquet held in Tianjin prior to the start of the first tournament Team USA played in, including the warm reception that the team got upon arriving at the banquet.
