VILLANOVA, Pa. - After spending the past two seasons on the coaching staff at Indiana, Ryan Sullivan makes his way to the Main Line to join head coach Josh Steinbach and assistant Amy Pauly on the Villanova coaching staff.

"We are excited to have Ryan join the volleyball family here at Villanova," Steinbach said. "Ryan has a passion for the game and a knowledge base that I think will help us achieve at a high level."

Sullivan is a 2012 graduate of Indiana and assisted the Hoosiers coaching staff by compiling scouting reports and game plans for BIG 10 conference matches. He worked with the Indiana offense as the setters coach in 2012 and with the defense as the libero coach in 2013.

As an undergraduate Sullivan was a five-year captain for the Indiana club men's volleyball team. Sullivan led the team to three national top-10 finishes, including a final four appearance in 2011 when he was also named the conference Player of the Year. In addition to his involvement with the men's club team, Sullivan was also a practice player for the women's varsity team in 2008, 2010 and 2011. The team reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
