COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Villanova women's volleyball team lost to Tennessee, 3-0, in its third and final match of the Maryland Invitational on Saturday. The Lady Vols posted scores of 30-20, 30-24, 30-24 against the Wildcats. Freshman Adrian Semrau was named to the All-Tournament team after strong hitting and blocking performances through the weekend.

Kerri Sullivan paced the Wildcat attack with three kills in game one and Jen Lalli registered five assists.

In game two, Villanova led 13-9 before Jennifer Rudy and Julie Knvtvch sparked the Lady Vols on a 21-10 run to win the game. Semrau managed four kills for the 'Cats and Jennifer Badran-Grycan played well defensively.

Villanova opened up a lead again in game three behind the offense efforts of Semrau and Jessica Hoover.

Tennessee's Kristen Andre and Whitney Gifford then took over as the Lady Vols rallied for the match win.

Villanova (0-3) returns to action on Friday at 5 p.m. against George Washington at the George Washington Invitational.
