    The Villanova volleyball team capped an overall successful day for Villanova Athletics, as the Wildcats (15-8, 6-4 BIG EAST) downed the Georgetown Hoyas ( 6-17, 2-8 BIG EAST) 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16 on Saturday night at McDonough Arena.

    The Villanova Wildcats (14-8, 5-4 BIG EAST) dropped the first set against the Xavier Musketeers (11-11, 5-4 BIG EAST), but rallied to win the next three frames of the BIG EAST Conference match to win 22-25, 28-26, 25-21, 25-23.

  • Loitz Records Double-Double, Cats Fall 3-1 at Butler

    Allie Loitz (Bonita, Calif./Bonita Vista) recorded 13 kills and 13 digs for her eighth double-double of the season, but the Villanova Wildcats dropped a 25-18, 18-25, 25-21, 25-23 match at Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse earlier this evening.
