Allison Keeley returns for her third season at the helm of the Villanova women's volleyball team in 2003. She was named the school's eighth volleyball coach on April 18, 2001.
Kelley guided the Wildcats to their first winning season since 1997 last year. The team completed an 11-win turnaround, finishing 18-16 overall. The 18 victories were the most for the ‘Cats since they posted 20 wins in 1997.
From 1998-2001, Keeley spent three seasons as the head coach at Southern Arkansas University. Keeley brought enthusiasm and energy to the program at Southern Arkansas and saw her team earn six individual school records and four all-conference selections.
Prior to her stint at Southern Arkansas, Keeley served as the head coach at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, Cal. from 1996-98. In 1995, she served as associate head coach at Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., where her team recorded a fourth place finish in the conference race after finishing the previous season with a 3-31 record.
Keeley graduated in 1990 from Carleton College with a bachelor of arts degree in politial science. Keeley earned her Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific. She resides in Ardmore, Pa.
