2016: Made an immediate impact as a first-year setter… Earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week twice (8/29, 10/24)… Landed on the BIG EAST Honor Roll on 10/3… Finished her rookie season with averaging 10.97 assists per set, which ranked 29th in the nation, second in the BIG EAST, and fourth among all freshmen in the country… The 10.97 assist/set marks the ninth best ever in a single-season in program history… Appeared and started in 30 matches, playing in a total of 106 sets… Recorded 1,163 assists… Logged 209 digs, averaging 1.97 per set… Blocked a total of 49 opponent attacks… Tallied 72 kills on 170 attempts for a .324 hitting percentage… Registered 23 service aces… Reached the 40-dig mark 13 times on the season… Achieved the 50-dig mark against Seton Hall (50 digs, 5 sets) on 11/5 and a career-high 54 assists against Marquette on 10/1 in just 4 sets… In the first matchup of the season against Seton Hall on 9/20, Decker fed the Wildcats offense with 49 assists in just three sets, the sixth most assists in a three-set match in Division I all-season… Had four double-double performances… Earned a season-high 12 digs against Marquette on 10/1 and Creighton 11/20 – the two representatives from the BIG EAST that qualified for the NCAA Tournament… Against Georgetown on 10/21, connected on eight kills on just 10 attempts for a .700 hitting percentage.
