Alona Cherkez enters her first season as a student assistant coach for the Wildcats after a successful playing career.
Cherkez is Villanova's single season record holder in kills as she posted 642 in 2007. She was named a first team All-BIG EAST selection and earned a spot on the All-Northeast Region squad. Cherkez also earned honorable mention All-American honors, a first for a Villanova volleyball player.
Cherkez will assist in the day-to-day coaching needs of the Wildcats. | ||||||||||||||||||||
