FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Junior Sheila Reid and senior Nicole Schappert earned All-American honors for their performance in the 3,000m at the 2010 NCAA Indoor Championships at the Randall Tyson Track Center.

Reid broke off and ran in the lead pack of the race early on along with Angela Bizzarri of Illinois and Lisa Koll from Iowa State. She crossed the finish line in 9:01.13 in third place, nine seconds ahead of the fourth place finisher. Bizzarri claimed the title and Koll took second.

Schappert ran a strong race and stayed in the front of the second pack of runners. She recorded a time of 9:12.51 to earn sixth place.

Reid and Schappert both earned All-American honors for finishing in the top-eight.

Sophomore Bogdana Mimic ran 9:18.87 and crossed the finish line in 12th place, while junior Ali Smith was 16th in 9:25.22.
