March 10, 2007
Fayetteville, Ark. - The NCAA Indoor Championships allowed the Wildcat women a chance to compete among the most elite runners across the country. Pacing Villanova were senior Monique Morgan and junior Frances Koons. Both Morgan and Koons placed eighth in the country in their respective events, while the distance medley relay team finished tenth.
Monique Morgan earned her second NCAA All-American award by finishing eighth in the 60m hurdles last night. Morgan improved her personal best time to 8.16 in the preliminaries and 8.27 in the finals.
