In the 1000 meters she crossed the finish line in 2:50.37 and shattered her previous personal best time by more than eight seconds.
The top relay squad for the Wildcats consisted of junior Ariann Neutts (Succasunna, N.J.) leading off, followed by Lipari and Akande ahead of freshman Stephanie Schappert (Delray Beach, Fla.) in the anchor spot.
