Women's Track & Field at Metro Team Challenge

Villanova won the Metro Team Challenge in New York on January 23, 2015.

On Lewis: Versatile athlete who can help the team in the jumps and the sprint relays ... Top individual event is the long jump and was a BIG EAST scorer last year ... Has a bright future as she continues to gain experience and should continue to make progress this season.

2014-15 Indoor: Recorded a 10th place finish in the long jump at the BIG EAST Championships, where she had a jump of 4.97 meters ... Competed in the long jump a total of six times during the season ... Her top mark of the season came in a first place finish at the McElligott Invitational, where she tallied a mark of 5.45 meters ... Tied for 19th place at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (5.33m) and opened the season with a fifth place finish at the Jack Pyrah Invitational (5.32m) ... Placed 16th at both the Gotham Cup (5.25m) and the Metro Team Challenge (5.00m).

2014 Outdoor: Competed in the long jump at the BIG EAST Championships and registered an eighth place finish with a season-best distance of 5.24 meters ... Competed in the event five times during the season ... Tied for 11th place at the Larry Ellis Invitational (5.20m) while also finishing sixth at the season-opening Philadelphia College Classic (5.12m), 21st at the Colonial Relays (5.06m) and 54th at the Raleigh Relays (4.93m) ... Placed 14th in the 100 meters at the Delaware Open with a time of 12.91 and was fourth in the event at the Philadelphia College Classic (13.10) ... Led off the 4x100 meter relay at the Penn Relays, where Villanova posted a season-best time of 47.66 to place sixth in its heat and 45th overall out of 100 teams in the preliminary heats ... Anchored the 4x100 relay to a runner-up finish at the Philadelphia College Classic (49.02) and to a ninth place finish at the Larry Ellis Invitational (48.61) ... Ran the third leg of the 4x100 relay at the Raleigh Relays, where the Wildcats came in 28th (49.02).

2013-14 Indoor: Competed at the season-opening Jack Pyrah Invitational ... Came in fifth in the 60 meters with a personal best time of 8.02 and placed seventh in the long jump with a distance of 5.22 meters.

Citrus Valley High School: First team all-league performer individually in the 100 meters and the long jump, in addition to both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays ... Selected as the league MVP and was a recipient of the Coaches' Award ... Achieved Honor Roll status academically.

Personal: Born 9/18/95 ... One of four children of Hezekiah Lewis and Euridici Fitz ... Siblings are Kadin, Savannah and Brian ... Majoring in Communication.
