2016 Cross Country: Won the prestigious NCAA Elite 90 academic award at the NCAA Championships ... Only the second Villanova student-athlete in the eight-year history of the award to earn the honor, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average who is competing at the site of a national championship ... Repeated as a Mid-Atlantic All-Region and a first team All-BIG EAST performer ... Was one of the Wildcats five scoring runners in all six of her starts during the season ... Came in third on the team and 136th overall in a field of 250 runners at the NCAA Championships, where she posted a time of 20:58.6 over 6000 meters ... Came in 17th overall at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional with a time of 21:05.9, and was ninth at the BIG EAST Championships in 21:29.0 ... Opened the season by covering the three mile course at Haverford in 16:46.9 to finish as the individual runner-up at the Main Line Invitational ... Placed 26th at the Paul Short Run with a time of 20:39 over 6000 meters, and was the fourth Villanova finisher at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational in 21:27.1.
2016 Outdoor: Part of a Championship of America title in the 4x1500 meter relay at the Penn Relays ... Led off the race and produced a split of 4:29.7 on the first leg, with Villanova going on to post a winning time of 17:44.29 ... Established personal best times in the 800 meters, the 1500 meters and the 5000 meters during the season ... Her best individual race came at the BIG EAST Championships, where she was the runner-up in the 5000 meters with a personal best time of 16:25.67 and earned All-BIG EAST honors ... Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary in the 5000 meters and came in 22nd overall in the national semifinal heats with a time of 16:43.42 ... Runner-up in the 5000 meters at the Larry Ellis Invitational in 16:26.32 and finished third in the championship section at the Colonial Relays with a time of 16:27.77 ... International Competition: Represented the United States at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland in July 2016 ... Earned her spot on the United States team after finishing third in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:43.59 at the USATF Junior Championships in Clovis, Calif. ... Was the first alternate to the team in the 5000 meters and was named to the squad after a scratch in the event.
