Women's Tennis Back in Win Column

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Villanova women's tennis team (3-2) found their way back into the win column when they posted a 7-0 victory over La Salle (2-3) Thursday afternoon at the Belfield Tennis Complex. 'Nova swept all singles and doubles matches en route to their victory. Candice Carlin won her No. 1 singles match in straight sets, as did Colleen Speaker (No. 2), Leighann Reilly (No.3) and Courtney Flezzani (No.4). La Salle's Emily D'Angelo retired during her singles match with Lindsey Puchyr and the No. 6 singles victory defaulted to Katie Fleszar. In doubles action, Carlin teamed up with Reilly for the No.1 victory over Dana Koch and Courtney Tereszuk. Fleszar and Flezzani also won at No. 2 doubles. The women return to action this weekend when they head to Morgantown, W.Va to compete in the WVU Invitational. Villanova at La Salle: Singles: Doubles:
