NEWARK, Del. - Host Delaware (5-1) won all six singles matches in straight sets and took two of the three doubles matches to defeat Villanova (3-5) by a final count of 7-0 at the Delaware Field House on Sunday afternoon. The only win for the Wildcats came in the No. 3 doubles match.

Senior Wesleigh Donadio (Winter Park, Fla.) and sophomore Kate Pettee (New Canaan, Conn.) teamed up for their third win together in dual match doubles play this season. They overcame Danea Jonjic and Christina Harrington in an extremely close match at third doubles to eventually win 8-7 (7).

Villanova returns to action at Saint Joseph's on Thursday at 3 p.m.
