Women's Tennis vs. Rutgers

Villanova hosted Rutgers on March 27, 2013 at the West Campus Tennis Courts.

Career: Wrapped up career leading the team in both career singles wins and career doubles victories ... Posted a 44-63 singles mark and a 37-63 doubles record ... Owns a winning record in tournaments as both a singles and a doubles player, going 16-11 and 13-11, respectively ... Has gone 28-52 in dual matches in singles as well as 24-52 in doubles ... Every one of her singles matches against dual opponents has come at the No. 1 spot in the lineup ... She has also played all but one of her dual matches in doubles at the top spot.

2013-14: Capped off her final season with a winning record during singles action (15-13), including the most on the team for the year ... Went 4-2 in tournament play and 11-11 in dual matches ... Recorded a 7-20 mark in doubles, going 5-17 in dual competition and 2-3 in tournaments ... Helped Villanova pick up a BIG EAST tournament victory over Providence with a 7-5, 6-0 triumph from the top singles flight.

2012-13: Finished a solid junior campaign second on the team in singles wins and fourth in doubles for the season ... During tournaments, finished 4-3 in doubles and 4-5 in singles ... Registered a 5-14 mark in dual match singles and 9-9 record in doubles with all contests coming from the top flight.

Finished the fall season with a record of 4-3 in singles matches and a 4-5 mark in doubles play ... Advanced to the quarterfinals in the Flight 1 singles draw at the Saint Joseph's Invitational.

2011-12: Ranked second on the team with a combined 22 victories between singles and doubles action ... Tied for the team lead with 10 doubles wins and was tied for second with 12 victories in singles ... Played exclusively at No. 1 singles and all but one match at No. 1 doubles against dual opponents ... Overall for the year had a singles record of 12-15, including 4-3 in tournaments and 8-12 in dual matches ... Only player on the team to play at No. 1 singles during the season ... Enjoyed a stretch from March 28 through April 7 in which she went 5-1, including three straight wins against Bucknell, Connecticut and St. Francis (Pa.) ... Had a doubles record of 10-15 for the season, including 4-2 in tournaments and 6-13 in dual matches ... As a singles player was 4-3 in tournaments and was the Flight 1 runner-up at the Bucknell Invitational ... Played exclusively at the No. 1 singles spot as a freshman during dual matches ... Scored wins over St. Peter's, La Salle, Loyola (Md.) and Connecticut, with Villanova going 3-1 as a team in those matches ... Played at the top doubles spot in dual matches with Kristin Gobberg and went 4-13 ... Also was 3-1 in doubles during tournaments.

Personal: Born 1/26/92 in Salt Lake City, Utah ... One of three children of Vincent Tad and Mary Mancini ... Siblings are Megan (23) and Alex (19) ... Mother played tennis at Washington State and father played basketball at Oregon ... Sister, Megan, was a member of the tennis team at the University of Tampa and brother plays basketball at Bentley University ... Economics major in the school of Liberal Arts, General Business minor and marketing minor.
