Women's Tennis vs. Rutgers

Villanova hosted Rutgers on March 27, 2013 at the West Campus Tennis Courts.

Spring 2015: Compiled a singles record of 6-13 over the season... 0-1 at No. 3 singles... 1-4 at No. 5 singles... 5-8 at No. 6 singles... Teamed with both Linley Busby and Samantha Schafer in doubles action.... Her combined doubles record was 5-12... With Busby she went 1-0 at No. 1 doubles, 0-1 at No. 2 doubles and 0-4 at No. 3 doubles... With Schafer she went 0-4 at No. 1 doubles and 4-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Fall 2014: Singles record is 4-3... Flight D Singles Bracket winner at the Bucknell Invitational... Teamed with Aphrah Brokaw for a doubles record of 4-1... She and Brokaw won the Flight B Doubles Bracket in the Bucknell Invitational... Also played a doubles match with Linley Busby (0-1).

2013-14: Finished a dependable junior season serving solely as a dual match player ... Posted a 9-13 mark in singles and went 7-14 in doubles ... Picked up a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at the No. 4 slot to propel Villanova to a BIG EAST Tournament victory over Providence.

2012-13: Excelled as a doubles player during a solid sophomore campaign ... Finished 8-7 during dual match doubles with all eight wins coming at the No. 3 flight ... In dual competition, went 3-11 in singles with all three wins from the No. 5 slot.

2011-12: Enjoyed a strong collegiate debut for Villanova and tied for second on the team with 12 singles victories during the year ... Went 5-2 in tournaments and 7-12 in dual matches ... Her dual wins included five victories at No. 4 singles and two wins at the fifth spot ... Won three straight matches against Lafayette, Providence and Seton Hall at the fourth spot in the lineup ... Also scored wins over TCNJ, Loyola (Md.), St. Francis (Pa.) and Saint Joseph's ... As a doubles player went 2-7 overall, including 2-2 in tournaments and 0-5 in dual matches ... Played two dual matches at No. 2 doubles and three matches at the No. 3 spot.

St. Luke's High School: Played varsity tennis for five years from eighth grade through her senior year ... Was her team's No. 1 singles player as a junior and a senior ... Captured the FAA league singles championship in 2010 and was a four-time All-FAA selection ... Team captain ... Selected as the Athlete of the Month in May, 2010 and May, 2011 ... Achieved First Honors status academically all four years and was a winner of the Global Scholar Award ... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 5/5/93 in New Canaan, Conn. ... One of four children of Tim and Sheila Pettee ... Has two older brothers, George (23) and Alex (21), and a younger sister, Elizabeth (13) ... Father played college baseball and mother played collegiate tennis ... Brother, Alex, is currently a member of the Georgetown baseball team ... Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business.
