Softball Catches Five in Early Signing

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Softball Head Coach Maria DiBernardi announced the names of the five student athletes who signed their national letters of intent. Joining the team in the 2013-2014 season will be Jessica Angersbach (Brick, N.J.),Lauren Herschberg (Santa Magarita, Calif.), Brette Lawrence (Sparks, Nev.), Natalia Segovia (Temecula, Calif.) and Chase Snell (Poway, Calif.). DiBernardi and the rest of the Villanova squad anticipate the arrival of the five athletes next fall as she said, "We are very happy with the recruiting class of 2013. They all come from high quality travel ball programs and will fill the spots vacated by our graduating seniors. We will be deep in the catching area and have solidified our infield and pitching. These girls are all quality athletes and outstanding students in the classroom. We are very excited to welcome them to our Villanova family."
