Inside the Dugout with junior infielder Delaney Switzer
Oct. 4, 2017

Hi Nova Nation! It’s Delaney, a junior infielder from Escondido, California and I am a mechanical engineering major here at Villanova! We just finished our fall season on a great note with two wins against West Chester, and Bloomsburg.

Overall, the fall season went great. We are meshing as a team really well and had a lot of fun playing the eight games. We’ve been working so hard and the hard work has definitely been paying off.

These fall games give us a chance to see what we need to work on before spring season comes around, so we are pumped to spend the off season perfecting our game. We have two more weeks of in-season practice so we’ll be working hard while we are allowed the time to do so!

We have midterms coming up this week, so it’ll be a busy week. Luckily, the week after we have our fall break. Many of us are going home to spend the week with our families and catching up on sleep!

That’s all for now, Nova Nation! Hope you enjoy the start of fall and keep up with your Wildcats as season rolls around! Go Cats!
