Villanova Softball Releases its 2007 Fall Schedule

The Villanova University softball team and head coach Maria DiBernardi have announced their 2007 fall schedule. The Wildcats will compete in four tournaments to prepare themselves for the tough regular spring season.
VU will be hosting two tournaments while going on the road for two. The Wildcats open things up September 23 as the host the first VU Fall Tournament with Wagner College and Temple University coming to compete inside the Villanova Softball Complex.
The following week, September 29 and 30, the Wildcats head down the road to the Carole Weil Tournament in Allentown, Pa. The Carole Weil tournament consisted of 18 teams a season ago and will give VU a tough set of competition once again this year.
VU's third tournament of the fall will be in Essex County, N.J. at the New Jersey College Tournament with the Wildcats first opponent being Caldwell College at 10:30 a.m. on October 7. This tournament lasts only one day but give VU three games.
Finally on October 13, Villanova will head back home for the second Villanova University Fall Tournament. Attending this tournament will be Princeton University, Towson University and the University of Delaware.
