Kristen Verhoff, a.k.a. "Big Dog", is a senior captain outfielder from Oakland, NJ. She has been an impact player for the past 3 years for the Wildcats. Not only has she dominated in the outfield but has impressive statistics when talking about her offensive attack.

"Kristen carries herself well in all situation. Her calm demeanor allows her to be ready for all situations. When the game is on the line, Kristen wants to be the person in the batter's box-she knows she can do it," comments coaches Maria DiBernardi and Linda Goss. Her fellow teammates describe Kristen as "entertaining, fun-loving, personable and caring." When asked to comment on Kristen, teammate Mia Brickhouse replied, "She is someone that keeps me on my toes, keeps me honest and keeps me driven to win and be the best, just like her." Karen Niwinski thinks that "#24 has such a fun personality that no matter what my mood I feel like she can cheer me up or keep me smiling. She is definitely an asset to our team."

In her last year as a Wildcat, I know that Kristen will dominate, both offensively and defensively. Go BIG DOG!
