Freshman Kriste Romano will prove to be an integral addition to the Wildcat lineup this year. The rookie hails from Arizona, and is eagerly looking forward to her first season at the collegiate level.

Romano's "cannon" for an arm and reliability behind the plate, in addition to her relentless hard work, determination, and positive attitude, make her an all-around respected athlete. According to coaches DiBernardi and Goss, "Kriste is a great addition to our team. She blocks balls so well and has a great arm. Offensively, she should be able to provide us with some power this season." Her teammates describe her as energetic, motivating, and strong-willed. Most definitely keep an eye out for #15 throughout the Wildcat's season, for the friendly smile on her face can be seen from a mile away.
