Player Focus Article - Jana Bullock
April 29, 2000
By Mia Brickhouse Jana Bullock is a junior outfielder originally from Springfield, VA, but not calls sunny California her home. She's still an east coast girl if you ask us. Jana will look to spend time in the outfield gunning out runners that dare test her arm. Jana batted .324 in her sophomore year, with two doubles. She also was perfect in her stolen bases, with four on the season. Making only one error last year, the wildcats look to her defense to help complete a solid line-up. If you had to describe Jana is three words, they would be bubbly, outgoing, and friendly. Shes been known to be up for a crazy adventure anytime, so follow her to see where the action is. You might want to get her autograph now, because she is booked throughout the 2000 season to sing the National Anthem at our softball games. After that, I'm sure she'll shine out in California. Her coach says that Jana has been an important part of the team for the last two years. Her outstanding defense and blazing speed makes this Wildcat team a strong force against any opponent.
