VILLANOVA, Pa. - After a rain filled weekend, the Villanova softball team is set to return to the diamond Tuesday when the Wildcats host Marist for a doubleheader at the Villanova Softball Complex on Pike Field. First pitch is slated for 2:30 p.m.

Following a pair of defeats at Drexel on Thursday, Villanova brings an 8-17 record into the two game series, looking to snap its five game skid. The Wildcats had their three game conference series against Seton Hall (9-20) cancelled over the weekend due to poor weather conditions.

Marist boasts a 7-14 record on the year after knocking out Fairfield, 10-0, on Saturday. The Red Foxes are 1-0 in the MAAC and hope to make it two straight on Monday against their foes. This marks the first ever meeting between Villanova and Marist.

All games will be broadcast on Nova Nation All-Access. Live stats can be followed through Gametracker.

The Villanova Softball Complex is located on Pike Field across from Villanova stadium and admission is free for the public.
