During the Villanova football team's 48-28 victory over Morgan State last Saturday, longtime softball head coach Maria DiBernardi was honored on the field after the first quarter of the game. It was a special moment for DiBernardi as well as the entire softball program.
On Friday afternoon, the entire Villanova softball team sat down in Driscoll Hall and held a video chat session over Skype with Wall Street Journal best-selling author Jon Gordon. The session lasted around 60 minutes.
This past month while many of the Villanova fall sports have been settling into their regular competition schedules, some Wildcats have been taking advantage of their free time by giving back to the community. Villanova baseball recently volunteered at the Colonial School District 5K Race while the Wildcats softball team spent some time at the Brian Aneurysm Awareness 5k.
