2008:Played in all 51 games with 48 starts...Had the third highest batting average with .313...Led the squad with 29 runs and tallied 45 hits...Had 12 RBI on the season...was named a third team All-BIG EAST selection and earned the prestigious Villanova Sister Mary Margaret Cribben award...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

2007: Played in 17 games while starting 16... Had a .314 batting average with 11 hits... Had one double and an RBI... Had a stolen base and recorded 16 putouts with no errors... Went 2-for-2 versus Lafayette College (3/24) with a double... Named to the BIG EAST Academic All Star Team.

2006: Played in and started all 53 games... Posted a batting average of .285... Scored 16 runs to go along with a double and a triple and 11 RBI... Led the team with nine stolen bases... Notched a hit in 22 of 31 non-conference games, including 10 multi-hit games... On 3/30 against Drexel, went 2-3 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored... Also had three hits aginst Penn (4/11) in addition to scoring two runs... Went 3-3 at the plate against Delaware (4/19) with an RBI and two runs scored... Had two stolen bases on 5/2 against Temple... Struck out just eight times in 165 at bats... Named to the BIG EAST Academic All Star Team.

2005: Named to the All-Big East Third team... Started 59 of 61 games played... Scored 19 runs from 39 hits to have a .275 batting average... Tallied eight RBI along with one triple against Syracuse (5/13), which tied for first on the team... Led the team in stolen bases with thirteen of eighteen attempts... Of 151 chances, forced 66 outs and assisted on 83 with only three errors... Fielding percentage of .980.

Lexington High School: Divided her talent between three sports and earned a total of 12 letters, four in soccer, four in indoor track and four in Softball... Received the Doc Abell Award, given to the most outstanding female athlete in the school (2004)... Also received the Mickey Finn award for softball and the rotary award for soccer (2004)... Stayed on her high school's honor roll for her entire four year career... Won the Principal's Award in 2004... Was a four-year All-Star in softball and the second leading hitter in the Middlesex League... High school batting average was .480... Captain of softball and soccer teams as a senior.

Personal: The daughter of Jack and Janice Dempsey... A liberal arts major... Has a brother, Tim (26), who played baseball at Connecticut and at UMass-Lowell... Cousin Mike Pagliarulo played professional baseball for the Yankees, Orioles, Padres, Twins and Rangers... Enjoys traveling... Born 11/11/85.
