Lawrence and Husk earn BIG EAST Honors

Brette Lawrence named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week and Brittany Husk named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

2017: Second Team All-BIG EAST…Started in 53 of the 54 games that she played in…Batted .355 on the year with 60 hits, 41 runs, 23 RBIs, 16 doubles, a triple and a home run…Also stole 16 bases in 19 attempts…Led the team in hits, doubles and steals…Ranked second in the BIG EAST in hits, third in doubles, and third in steals…Named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on April 10.

2016: First Team All-BIG EAST...Finished season with a batting average of .316... Played and started in all 50 games...Her 158 at bats were the third most on the team... Her 50 hits were the third most for Villanova... Her 12 doubles were tied for the most on the team and tied for sixth in the conference...She hit three home runs and 24 RBI in 2016...
