VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova women's soccer team began the season on a 9-1 tear, and hasn't let up during a stellar season that will now include the program's fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The team's success this season has received due recognition around the nation. The Wildcats have been nationally ranked several times throughout the season, and enter the postseason ranked 23rd in the NSCAA/Adidas Top 25. Additionally, two Villanova players have been named to national teams of the week, and four players earned all-Big East honors. Below is a recap of the awards and honors Villanova has received this season.
