BIEHL HONORED BY BIG EAST, SOCCER BUZZ: On Monday, Sept. 24, Villanova's Michelle Biehl was named the Big East Conference Defensive player of the Week as well as to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week, after leading the Wildcats to two shutout victories in three games. Biehl helped the `Cats shutout Virginia Tech 2-0 on Sept. 17, and blank Butler University 1-0 on Sept. 23. In addition, she assisted on the game-winning goal against the Bulldogs on Sunday. A redshirt freshman, Biehl returned to the Wildcats this season after having to sit out the entire 2000 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her knee.
