VILLANOVA, Pa. -
The Villanova women's soccer scrimmage scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th has been moved up to 1 p.m. to accommodate predicted inclement weather in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area. The exhibition match was originally slated for 7 p.m. but will still take place on Hesse Field at the Great Lawn on the Monmouth University campus.
The scrimmage will mark the first time the 2014 Villanova Wildcats will take the field since officially beginning preseason on Wednesday August 6th.

Sabatura and Ryan Team Up Twice in 2-1, Overtime Victory over Monmouth
Sophomore forward Heidi Sabatura (Lawrenceville, N.J.) scored both of her team's goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as Villanova (4-4) defeated visiting Monmouth (4-2) by a final count of 2-1 on Friday at the West Campus Soccer Complex in each team's first game at this weekend's Villanova Classic. Sabatura twice teamed up with junior forward Katie Ryan (Wayne, N.J.) to help the Wildcats first tie the game in the second half and then go on to win its second straight contest in extra time.
The Wildcats will host their opening game of the season on Friday, August 22nd when they welcome Drexel at the newly-renovated Higgins Soccer Complex (previously known as West Campus Soccer Complex) at 4:30 p.m.
