2003 Schedule

VILLANOVA, PA. - On Monday, April 7, Villanova head women's soccer coach Ann Clifton announced her team's 2003 schedule. The Wildcats will attempt to earn their third consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament this season, after receiving the program's first two bids ever in 2001 and 2002.

Villanova's 19-game schedule is highlighted by trips to two in-season tournaments - the North Carolina State Tournament where the `Cats will take on Old Dominion and North Carolina State and the U.S. Naval Academy Tournament where Villanova will clash with Colgate and the University of North Carolina.

The Wildcats will kick off the season with two home contests against Lehigh on August 29th at 4:00 p.m., and Rider on August 31st at 1:00 p.m. Villanova will begin Big East Conference play at home on Sept. 11th against Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. The Wildcats' conference schedule consists of home games against Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Seton Hall, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, and road games at Providence, Boston College, Georgetown, and Notre Dame.

Out of 19 total regular season games, the Wildcats will play nine at home at the Villanova Soccer Stadium and 10 contests on the road.
