Wildcats Open 31st Year of Varsity Soccer on August 23rd vs. Radford
2014: Appeared in eight games while making one start for the season... Totaled 199 minutes on the pitch as part of the Villanova defense... Part of Villanova defensive unit that tallied three shutouts during her game appearances. BIG EAST: Appeared in six conference contests... Logged 115 minutes on the field during BIG EAST matches... Helped Villanova register three shutouts against Butler (Sept. 25), Xavier (Oct. 2) and Seton Hall (Oct. 19) during her league appearances. BIG EAST Tournament: Started in the Wildcats first round game against St. John's which resulted in a 2-0 loss to conclude the 2014 season.
2013: Appeared in six contests while making thee starts vs. Richmond (Sept. 8), St. Francis (Sept. 15) and Butler (Sept. 26)... Totaled 312 minutes on the pitch during her sophomore season... Appeared in three shutout victories against Lehigh (Sept. 1), Richmond (Sept. 8) and Butler (Sept. 26). BIG EAST: Appeared and started in one conference contest vs. Butler (Sept. 26).
2012: Appeared in three games on defense vs. American (Aug. 17), VCU (Sept. 2) and William and Mary (Sept. 7).
Christian Brothers Academy: Earned five varsity letters in both soccer and lacrosse, as well as four in basketball ... Winner of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award ... Presented with the Megan Patterson Memorial Award for soccer ... All-CNY soccer selection as a senior ... All-league soccer performer every year from 2007-12 ... Received all-league lacrosse honors each year from 2008-11 and was an honorable mention pick in 2007 ... Earned all-tournament first team honors in lacrosse in 2011 ... OHSL Freedom Division second team selection in basketball (2011-12) ... Achieved Honor Roll status academically every year from 2007-12 ... Three-year member of the National Honor Society ... Named a US Lacrosse All-Academic team honoree in 2011 .. Recipient of the Attorney General's Triple "C" Award for courage, commitment and character.
Personal: Born 3/22/94 in Ceiba, Puerto Rico... Youngest of four children and the only daughter of Michael and Kathy Wiese... Has three older brothers, Matthew, Brian, and Patrick... Both parents were collegiate student-athletes at Holy Cross... Father played baseball (1976-80) as a second baseman and mother played field hockey (1977-80) as a goalie and defensive player... Brother, Patrick, was a member of the baseball team at Le Moyne... Enrolled as a Communications major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
