On Gordon: Returning left-side defender with outstanding speed ... Still has a tremendous upside and will help the team on defense or in the midfield ... Terrific overall athlete who made the team as a walk-on in 2005 ... Uses her speed to take the ball away from opponents and can jumpstart an attack opportunity from anywhere on the field.

2006: Moved to a full-time defensive role and started on the left side of the back line ... Grew into her new role within a defensive unit that suppressed opponents to just 11 goals on the season ... Played in all 22 games with 21 starts ... Villanova allowed an average of fewer than five shots on goal per game and posted 15 shutouts ... The Wildcats were scored on just twice in their first 15 games ... Notched her first three collegiate points in the same game, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist in a win over Toledo in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

2005: Played in 14 games and was used in a variety of roles ... Made her first collegiate start against Georgetown on August 31 ... Logged a total of 307 minutes for the year ... Saw action in eight Big East games.

2004: Earned a spot on the roster as a walk-on and played backup role at the forward position ... Played in two games on the season ... Appeared in games against Towson on Sept. 19 and St. John's on Oct. 3.

Academic and Community Honors: Spent the summer of 2006 studying Spanish in Chile with Wildcat teammate Melissa Murowski.
