West Windsor, N.J. - In the final event of the season, the Villanova rowing team will aim for the inaugural American Athletic Conference title when they are set to compete Sunday at the 2014 Rowing Championship on Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. The Wildcats will battle boats from Louisville, Rutgers, SMU, Temple, UCF, and UConn.

Competition will get going with time trials at 8 a.m. before six Grand Finals take place at 11 a.m. The awards ceremony will conclude the season following the final race, the Varsity 8+ event.

There will be a live stream of the Championship by The American Digital Network, which can be seen through Online Video. Fans can follow live results and enjoy full coverage on the Tournament Central.

Louisville enters the regatta as the overall favorites. The top seed boasts a No. 17 national ranking, the only team represented by the polls in this event. Each of the remaining six squads will race a full complement of six boats.

Villanova's Freshman/Novice 8+ is coming off a third place finish last week at the 76th Annual Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.
