PRINCETON, N.J. - The Villanova University rowing team was scheduled to compete in two events this past weekend but due to weather they only competed in the Princeton Chase. The other event they were scheduled to compete in was the Head of the Schuylkill but it was cancelled entirely due to the bad weather on Saturday.

The Princeton Chase is one of the most competitive events on the rowing schedule and the team knew they would be facing the top competition in collegiate rowing.

Despite the stiff competition the women were able to pull out some good races finishing second and third in the pairs and 24th and 25th in the fours. In the eights they finished 34th and 44th overall.

The team will be back in action November 11th at the Belly of the Carnegie in Princeton, N.J.
