Cambridge, Mass. - The Villanova Rowing team traveled to Cambridge, Mass. over the weekend to compete in the Head of the Charles regatta. The regatta brings in teams from all over the country, including California, Georgia and Texas.

On Saturday, the Wildcats' College Four boat came in 15th out of 27 boats that entered the race.

"I thought they did well. We had a young team in that race, with four freshmen in the boat," head coach Jack St. Clair said.

Sunday, it was the College Eight's turn. They would finish 23rd out of 57 entries, including national powers Yale and Princeton.

"We ran a clean race and did okay. I thought maybe they had a chance to do a little better, but overall, they did okay going up against some pretty strong teams," said head coach Jack St. Clair.

The Wildcats will participate in the Head of the Schuylkill regatta in Philadelphia next Saturday.
