Villanova, PA - On Saturday, the Villanova women's rowing team traveled to Philadelphia to compete in the Navy Day Regatta along with numberous other crew teams from the area.

The top finish came from the Dad Vail Eight, who won their race with a time of 15:44.10, 15 seconds ahead of second place Temple University.

The College Four boat finished fifth in a time of 17:50.10. A second Villanova boat in the same race finished 13th.

The College JV Eight boat for the Wildcats picked up a sixth place finish, recording a time of 17:34.70.

The Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston is the next competition on the schedule for Villanova next Saturday.
